In Betsy's math class we worked in our folders on DynaMath. In Kim's math class we made graphs of favorite commercials. We had fruit break. In class, we worked on our poems or we could do free choice writing. We also looked up facts about Werowocomoco and Jamestown. We had lunch with Katlyn. Now, the older kids have music and their ukulele party.

In Kim's math class, we worked on fractions in the real world. We had groups and we made fractions of a certain thing. We will show everyone our work on Monday. In Betsy's math class, we worked on multiplying and dividing fractions and worked in our folders. In Drama, we practiced our plays. In Computers, we worked on our stories that we are making and animating for our little buddies. In Spanish, we worked on animals with finger puppets. We reviewed the spelling games we will be doing tomorrow, when Lynn is subbing. Now we are going outside.

Today we worked on crocheting coral reefs. According to the Roanoke College website, "The Roanoke Valley Reef is a satellite reef of the Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef, a project of the Institute For Figuring in Los Angeles. The Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef has been exhibited in museums and art galleries around the world, including the Natural History Museum of the Smithsonian. The project combines mathematics, the arts, environmental science and other disciplines in an exciting way."
